Chanokh

Unfortunately, many of the names of people in the Line of Cain and the Line of Seth are either very similar or the same. For example, “Lamech” is the name both for Tubal-Cain’s father and Methuselah’s son, but they are different. The same is true of the name “Enoch.”  There is Enoch, the first born son of Cain and Enoch the prophet and father of Methuselah. In order to avoid confusion when it came to the “Cainite Enoch,” I chose to go with the Hebrew transliteration of “Chanokh.”
